Is every riot riotous?
Will old ladies jump off boats
In something
Called The Quietus
That's what P.D. James says in The Children of Men
I find the tale compelling, and I don't take fen-phen
To lose weight
Move freight
Via the railways
You paleface,
Napikwan, or should I say honky?
Tonky, like Tonka trucks
Some make bucks
By processing poultry, from quayle to ducks
My rucksack runneth over
My pullover, wish I hung out with Grover
Or Oscar the Grouch
Ouch, I've been stabbed by an icepick
That, plus my moves are totally sick
St. Nicholas, and so I say, "Ho-ho-ho,"
And Merry Christmas

Salz und Pfeffer,
Cold War historian like Melvyn Leffler
And Kepfler, where's my Deuteronomy at?
Matthias, Elias,
You can rent, but never buy us
But you can chide us

At present, I'm in the middle of a fairly major undertaking. I have a good deal of work ahead of me, and I've been proceeding in fits and starts. Mainly fits. I am taking a break. One can just as easily argue, however, that I've been on a more or less continuous "break" since 1985, when I was five, a break punctuated by "work." We'll leave this aside for now.

I recommend you watch these programs. You will profit from then, unless you are very worldly, in which case you should probably ride around on a motorbike while swinging an enormous chain, all the while staring menacingly at old biddies. Merry Christmas.
